These are unbeatable for the price. I've been very happy with Royal Robbins generally and with these pants in particular. I would even put them head to head against my absolute favorite travel pants from Bluff Works. The traveler pants have the perfect amount of stretch, dry quickly, breath well. And unlike so many of the competitors, these just look like normal pants. No unecessary pockets, zips or toggles to be found. If there's a downside to these pants its that they don't come in enough other colors. It is designed to be a little slim, so people with thick thighs, hips, and waist can get tight when wearing them.Pants can be worn from spring to autumn (April to October). And it looks more like a casual pants than a professional outdoor pants (classic outdoors)&versatile use.Of course, the pants are made of stretch material, which is quite comfortable. These are my second pair of Royals and they are my go to pants for most all my activities. Slight stretch and water resistance make them great for outdoors, and the are perfect on the town except for dressy outings, although a sport coat dresses them up.Great pants!. I am built thin...173 lbs, 6'. I normally wear a 34" waist, but I buy these in 32 waist and they fit trim, with the stretch in the pants accommodating my larger waist size. Very good quality. Good looking, comfortable fit. They don't look like they are made of nylon. They look like a fine grade cotton poplin.Better material than other similar style traveler pants, not as "parachute-y" feeling. Good color and feel. However, this is not for those of us with bigger thighs. If you have athletic/lifter's legs, things will be a bit tight across the thighs. The stretch does not compensate well. Make sure you get a seller that has free returns if you're on the fence.front pockets not quite deep enough. slightly too much material through the hips and legs.Comfortable, light and easy to pack. Only downside is they have wrinkles coming out of the wash. These are great pants. They look nice enough to wear for business or for hiking. I haven't gotten to wear them (yet) for hiking, but I have worn for business. They're very comfortable. Get yourself a pair!
