I liked the fact I didn't have to put it together. It has alot of space to put your laptop and mouse pad and a drink. The shelf is a nice added feature to put a pencil holder container, a lamp. It stands at a good height.The only down fall is that it does need to be place against a wall to keep it from flipping over if leaning forward because of the shelf that adds a heavier weight one one side; otherwise it is very sturdy. My kids love their new desk and I'm super happy with this desk.
